    OPEN SOURCE ERP RESEARCH - Looking for survey respondants!


    Hi everybody!

    I am a master's student at Bournemouth University and I am writting my
    dissertation about Open Source ERP systems. I am looking for volanteers
    to help me answering a  questionaire. It wont take long. However, I am
    looking for professionals that have some experience on Open Source ERP
    implementations or someone that can say something about the
    characteristics and the differences of their implementations when
    comparing to traditional ERPs. In addition, I am trying to find out
    what size of company normaly implement this type of software and if
    they implement it completely or just part of it.

    For the participants of this survey I will be giving the results as
    well as a copy of the research but everything will be anonymous and no
    one should worry about it because I  will preserve the respondant's
    privacy.

    Hi Decio
    I am training use Open source ERP ( CK- ERP)
    I Have been working in this task around 2 month , my firth problem was
    the langue , the  ERP was in English  I have translated  the phrases
    for the major modules ( inventory, purchase and others ).

    So far.  I have could used  Inventory, po, so  .
    The business that is trying supporting this initiative is a very small
     business

    Hi, lhdiaz,

    Thank you for your interest in CK-ERP and translation work on CK-ERP.

    You are most welcome to email your translated language files to me for
    incorporation into the main CK-ERP codebase, so they may be carried
    forward to future CK-ERP releases.  That would save you quite a bit of
    adjustment work when you upgrade to future releases.  At the same time,
    folks that speak your language would be able to benefit from your
    translation work.
